About me
3D, XR and more
Creative and artistic activities have always been an important part of my life. After graduating from high school, I initially decided to study media studies and English at the University of Trier.
During these studies I started to get involved with 3D modeling, first with SketchUp, later with Blender, and took my first steps towards game development, first by modding, especially games of the "Elder Scrolls" series by Bethesda, and then with Unity3D, which I first used to better visualize my 3D models.
Some time after I quit my first studies, I had the opportunity to study "Virtual Realities" with a focus on "Virtual & Augmented Reality" at the SRH University of Applied Sciences in Heidelberg, where I could deepen my skills in 3D modeling and with game engines and complement them with programming skills. Early in 2023, I was able to successfully complete my studies with a Bachelor of Science degree. My bachelor thesis titled "Ableitung einer einheitlichen Struktur für XR-Patterns" (Derivation of a Unified Structure for XR Patterns) was graded with the highest grade of 1.0.
From February 2023 to January 2024 I was working in a mini-job for my former internship company Einfach Genial gGmbH.
Since February 2024 I am working at the University of Münster as an application programmer.
